Help Us Fund AFTER LIFE on Kickstarter!

We are launching a Kickstarter to raise funds for this year's Fringe show, AFTER LIFE. We received so much wonderful support on the fundraiser for last year's show and now we need your help again.

There are lots of great rewards that come along with donating, including:

- Passes to the show
- A private video stream of the show in case you can't attend in August
- A Day at the Fringe... ON US!

We have 30 days to raise these funds, which go towards everything from our rehearsal space rental to artist stipends. Donate whatever you can, share with friends, everything helps!

Thank you!

Show image and new details on AFTER LIFE!

"Hello! You're dead."

The Theatre Cosmic presents AFTER LIFE, a new drama by Brandon Taitt.

Professor Izac Allen, an avowed atheist and lover of the stars, embarks on a journey with a mysterious woman who challenges him to accept that it's not about what happens after you die, it's about what happens after you live. In a country where the religious "nones" grow by the day, AFTER LIFE is a spiritual story told from the secular perspective.

AFTER LIFE is written by Brandon Taitt, directed by Kevin T. Houle and starsGeorge Michael CalgerRebekah KregerVictoria Pyan, and Glen Stone Our stage manager is Terri Ristow and graphics come courtesy of Ben Wood.

This is Theatre Cosmic's second Minnesota Fringe production. Last year's STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR WITH PATRICK STEWART sold out all six performances in its venue, receiving an Audience Choice encore and and glowing critical and audience reviews.

The Theatre Cosmic is proud to announce our next production!

After Life
Written by Brandon Taitt
Directed by Kevin T. Houle

Izac Allen is known for two things - his love of the stars and his caustic personality, especially when arguing that there is no God. A sudden medical crisis sends him on a journey with a smart, engaging young woman who pushes him to accept that it's not about what happens after you die. It's about what happens after you live.

George Calger will be playing Izac. George starred as Patrick Stewart in The Theatre Cosmic's smash hit Stuck In An Elevator With Patrick Stewart.

Rebekah Kreger will be playing Lacy. Rebekah is a talented Twin Cities actor and singer who will be making her Minnesota Fringe debut.

Victoria Pyan will play multiple roles. Victoria is a local artist and a company member of Little Lifeboats. Last summer she co-directed the Minnesota Fringe show How to Date a Werewolf.

Glen Stone will be playing multiple roles. Glen recently played the title role in The Theatre Cosmic’s Reagan the Second and this will be his fifth appearance in a Fringe show.

After Life will be stage managed by Terri Ristow.

"Realizing they have no viable candidates for 2016, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and Tea Party scientist Dr. Rand build an android copy of Ronald Wilson Reagan to run him for president."

We recorded this over two nights at Raucous Caucus. Thanks to our friend Pedro Juan Fonseca for providing the equipment and editing the video together!

"Reagan the Second" finishes run at Raucous Caucus IV, voted audience favorite

Andrew Thews ("Reince Priebus"), Bethany Simmons ("Dr. Rand"), Glen Stone ("Ronald Reagan"), Dante Pirtle ("Barack Obama")

Reagan the Second has finished its run of six performances as part of Box Wine Theatre's 10-minute political play festival, Raucous Caucus IV, and what a run it was! Kevin assembled a cast that was, in my opinion, absolutely perfect. It was really a treat for me to see the enthusiasm and talent that Andrew, Bethany, Dante, and Glen brought to their roles.

We were also informed that Reagan the Second was voted the audience favorite of Raucous Caucus IV. I'm incredibly pleased that audiences responded so well to the show because Kevin and the cast worked hard, and within a short timeframe, to elevate my silly little script and produce a tight, funny show.

Glen's Reagan wig sure helped a lot too. It was a thing a beauty.

And now more pics! See you for the next show!
